Certified Brain Injury Specialist/Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer Annual Renewal Fee.

Both Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS) and Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainers (CBIST) are required to pay annual renewal fees and complete the online renewal form in order to maintain certification. More information on the full process can be found here. ACBIS renewal fees are nonrefundable.

CEUs must have been earned during the one-year renewal period. For example, if the expiration date is 12 September 2022, then the renewal period is 12 September 2021 to 12 September 2022. Any grace period ONLY applies to submission of renewal application and payment, NOT earning of CEUs. There is a $25 late fee for certificants who submit their renewal payment and application after the 61-90 days past expiration.
