ACBIS Annual Renewal: Late Fee
Certified Brain Injury Specialist/Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer Annual Renewal Late Fee for renewal applications submitted after the 60 day grace period. The late fee will only be accepted up to 90 days past the expiration date of your certification.
This $25 late fee is for certificants who submit their renewal payment and application after the 60 day grace period. The late fee will only be accepted up to 90 days past the expiration date. At that time, certificants who do not renew and are more than 90 days past their expiration date are not permitted to use the CBIS/CBIST designation. These certificants will be required to submit new application materials (including fee) and retake the exam.
In order to maintain certification, both Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS) and Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainers (CBIST) are required to pay annual renewal fees and complete the online renewal form. More information on the full process can be found here.
