Speaker Bio

John Wood, MBA is the Chief Operating Officer at Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute in Texas. John has spent his 16-year career in acute and post-acute rehabilitation with an operational focus on quality, satisfaction, advocacy, and engagement. John holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration. In addition, John has a nursing degree which allows him to bring a clinical understanding to his leadership. John is an Adjunct Faculty member for business administration and healthcare management courses and enjoys educating future healthcare leaders in leadership, quality, and ethics. Outside of work John enjoys swimming, camping, traveling, and attending Houston sporting events with his wife and two children.
