Join us September 27, 2022 at the “Defining Moments in Brain Injury” conference, the premier conference centered on research, treatment, and services pertinent to brain injury recovery and rehabilitation in Maine. 

The conference is open to all professionals and direct care workers serving individuals with brain injuries, survivors of brain injury, family members and friends.

When: Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: Holiday Inn by the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, Maine

Age Guidelines:

Parents or guardians must complete all registration forms and sign waivers for individuals under 18 years of age.

BIAA-MAINE CONFERENCE COVID-19 POLICY

BIAA-Maine recommends, but will not require, attendees wear masks at the Defining Moments in Brain Injury Conference. Masks can be picked up, and hand sanitizer will be available for use at the registration desk.

General session and luncheon seating will be arranged to allow for additional space. Workshop rooms will be spaced two seats to a six foot table, with additional space between tables.

Red dot stickers will be available at the registration desk for attendees who would like others to allow extra space when approaching them. Attendees can place the sticker on their badges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All cancellation requests must be made by sending an email to conferences@biausa.org.
  • For cancellations received on or before August 26, 2022: Registration fee refunds will be subject to a $25 administrative fee for professionals and a $10 administrative fee for survivors, family and students.
  • For cancellations received between August 27-September 19, 2022: Registration fee refunds will be subject to a $50 administrative fee for professionals and a $20 administrative fee for survivors, family and students.
  • There will be no refunds for cancellations received on or after September 20, 2022, or for event “no shows.”
  • Questions related to registration substitutions/transfers should be emailed to conferences@biausa.org.
