What are key elements in athlete brain health, and how do concussion and its effects factor in?

In this webinar, Jeffrey Kutcher, M.D., from the Kutcher Clinic for Sports Neurology, discusses the intersection of concussion and athlete brain health. He also reviews concussion, post-concussion syndrome, chronic effects of brain trauma, and the life-long concept of athlete brain health.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define concussion – what it is and, more importantly, what it isn’t.
  2. Understand that athlete brain health is a life-long concept that involves more than concussion.
  3. Define and distinguish concussion, post-concussion syndrome, and chronic effects of brain trauma.
