In this David Strauss clinical webinar, learn how brain injuries affect mental health and behavior, and systemic issues that contribute to misdiagnosis and inadequate access to care. Speaker Bios
Chelsea Zarcone, LICSW, CBIS has worked in the field of brain injury and mental health for over a decade, working in various settings including inpatient neuro-rehabilitation and psychiatric facilities, community-based day programs, and community mental health. Chelsea is passionate about meeting the clinical and systemic needs of individuals with dual-diagnosis. She has advocated on the state and national levels for improvement in access to quality and specialized care for people living with disabilities. She is a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
Jake LaBrack sustained a brain injury in 2018 and experienced his own mental health challenges. He has become passionate about giving back to the brain injury community through education and peer support. When he is not working for his own business, he can be found spending time with his 4-year-old son.
