The Brain Injury Association of America’s National Conference and Awareness Day brings together the brain injury community to inspire action, drive advocacy, celebrate achievements, and strengthen our collective impact through dynamic sessions, networking, and opportunities to advocate on Capitol Hill. Every part of the brain injury community is invited to be a part of the event, with individuals living with a brain injury, caregivers, and healthcare providers all encouraged to attend.
Who Should Attend?
This year’s National Brain Injury Conference and Awareness Day is geared toward current and potential advocates within the brain injury community who have connections to brain injury and are motivated to expand advocacy, services, and support across the field. Those who are ready to move from personal experience to leadership within various initiatives are encouraged to attend.

The fee is $75 per person. Please register at the link above.
Conference Agenda
The agenda will feature educational sessions on March 9 & 10, and the Hill visits on March 11. The agenda is not finalized yet, but below is some general information:
- Monday, March 8: Registration opens at 10:30 am. Activities will begin around noon. No meals will be provided, but there will be a reception from 5:00-6:00 pm.
- Tuesday, March 9: Educational sessions will be scheduled from around 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
- Wednesday, March 10: Breakfast will be provided before attendees leave for the Hill visits. Most Hill visits will be scheduled between 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. Attendees are free to leave after their visits. Buses will be provided to and from the Capitol Hill area. There will be a closing reception from 6:00-7:00 pm at the hotel for those staying overnight.

Hotel Information
- The conference will be held at the Hilton Arlington National Landing, 2399 Richmond Hwy, Arlington, Virginia.
- We have a block of rooms at a special group rate of $262 per night.
- The cutoff date for the special rate is February 14, 2027, so please make your reservation early.
- Information on how to make your hotel reservation will be sent after your register for the conference.
Scholarships
- There are scholarships available for brain injury survivors and caregivers to attend the conference for a reduced fee of $20 per person.
- Scholarships only apply to the registration fee and do not cover hotel or travel expenses.

NASHIA Forum
The NASHIA Focus Forum on Advancing Responses to IPV and Brain Injury will be held on March 11, 2027, from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Arlington Hilton National Landing. Click here for more information and to register.
